Will keep on adding hand and finger exercises here as we go along. Just thought would put here some things we talked in today’s meet to help finer finger movements, which can easily be turned into games as well for some positive feedback. :
– fill a bowl with beans or coins…lift each , deposit on table, lift back in the bowl. Increase numbers or decrease time , as you get more proficient.
– roll a bottle back and forth on table
– carrom board , ludo , cards
– play a music ? for those so inclined.
Sethi Sa’ab also came up with some good exercises to strengthen facial muscles, cheeks, tongue etc.
In short , be creative and exercise as much as you can… don’t get into the ” learned non-use” stage.
CIMT data was also quite encouraging and interesting.
