National Aphasia Association, USA
The National Aphasia Association (NAA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1987. Its goal is to provide access to research, education, rehabilitation, therapeutic and advocacy services to individuals with aphasia and their caregivers. The NAA acts as a syndicate of resources, promoting sense of community among individuals and caregivers.NAA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Aphasia Nation
The purpose of Aphasia Nation is to educate the wider public about aphasia and particularly the healthcare and hospital communities. About 25-40% of people with stroke acquire aphasia yet few in the public are aware about aphasia and the link to stroke. It is started by Dr. Thomas Broussard, a three-Time Stroke Survivor and Johnny Appleseed of Aphasia Awareness. Dr. Broussard was an associate dean at The Heller School at Brandeis University until his stroke in 2011. He started Stroke Educator, Inc. (2015) and Aphasia Nation, Inc. (2020), a non-profit with an international “Aphasia Awareness” campaign dedicated to educating the wider public about aphasia, a life-changing language disorder that few have ever heard of it!

Funds Raising Organizations
Funds are very often a major concern for stroke survivors as well as the whole family. Even in countries such as UK and USA etc. with quite good governmental support such as social security this is an issue. Hence in countries like India with practically negligible social support teh problem is all the more severe.

Milaap is a crowdfunding site that enables people to donate for various causes, including medical emergencies such as stroke.
