[9/15, 6:16 PM] Rakesh Chaturvedi: Msg copied from another group for the benefit of members of this group ::

If attack of Paralysis (Lakwa) happens to someone, visit KEM hospital immediately.

Rush within 24hrs TV for the treatment under the Automatic machine.

It can/will remove all tumours of Paralysis attack in some hours & will feel normal like Aingeoplasty through treatment by this machine.

It’s first machine in India & is only at KEM Hospital Parel, Mumbai.

There are only few countries were these machines are.

Dr Nitin Dange, renowned Neurosurgeon has inaugrated this machine.

[9/15, 6:18 PM] Akshay Patil: Just to clarify the machine doesn’t remove anything , its Dr.Nitin Dange who performs the surgery

[9/15, 6:19 PM] Akshay Patil: The machine provides highly accurate position of clot so that a neuro surgeon can perform difficult task of thromboctomy

[9/15, 6:26 PM] Shiburaj Pillai: If the Patient is already Paralyzed, visiting KEM hospital will be beneficial ?

[9/15, 6:26 PM] Akshay Patil: No not at all

[9/15, 6:48 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: I am not sure if this is a new treatment. Thrombectomy has been around for some time and I see many Hospitals in India now claiming they can perform the operation. Here some more inputs :

[9/15, 6:50 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: This is some 5-6 years ago , much more data available now. What it does is increase the ‘ golden window’ time to about 12 hours or even more, but only for patients assessed suitable for the procedure.

[9/15, 6:53 PM] Akshay Patil: Can’t say about select patients or everyone but surely not for hemmoragic stroke

      [9/15, 6:53 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: https://www.drnitinndange.com/

It seems he has his own site, and is already disclaiming messages being circulated in WhatsApp. Still, seems useful information on that site.

[9/15, 6:55 PM] Akshay Patil: It’s said that the the restoration of blood supply can reverse a bit damage as cells which were gonna die in a bit time may be saved

[9/15, 6:59 PM] Akshay Patil: Also ‘KEM’ being a MCGM run hospital treatment is very affordable for everyone coming here

[9/15, 6:59 PM] Akshay Patil: Not just BPL members but everyone

      [9/15, 7:00 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: https://neuronewsinternational.com/new-ischaemic-stroke-guidelines-widen-mechanical-thrombectomy-window-24-hours-selected-patients/

The window is 24 hours in some cases.

[9/15, 7:03 PM] Bharti Dhankani: Once there is an issue with the brain everything is complicated. Some people who had thombectomy, who ate still paralyzed think that they would have been better off without it and their recovery took much time because they were operated. So it’s devil and the deep sea situation. A lot depends of the hospital you were taken to too.

[9/15, 7:05 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: Yes sure, as each stroke is different and one really does not know what’d have happened if the ‘ other road’ would have been taken. One can only leave this to skills and judgement of experts, and pray to God for best outcomes
