[4/9, 9:18 PM] Smitha Antony: I am looking for Robotic physiotherapy for my husband

His gait has to be corrected

      And hands too need

I saw in one hospital in Kerala

Jus checking how effective it is and them I can take a call

[4/9, 9:20 PM] Rajesh Singh: Me too searching for robotic therapy but want some feedback if anyone tried it

[4/9, 9:21 PM] Jitendra Varshney: U can go this mission health or in kokilaben mumbai

[4/9, 9:21 PM] Jitendra Varshney: For gait correction

[4/9, 9:21 PM] Smitha Antony: I’m in kerala

[4/9, 9:21 PM] Smitha Antony: Do they use robotic physiotherapy?

[4/9, 9:22 PM] Arvind Chittor: There is one in Chennai 1st in Asia . Device called Locomat

[4/9, 9:22 PM] Arvind Chittor: For gait correction

[4/9, 9:23 PM] Smitha Antony: Is that a device which we need to buy and use?

Or we need to go to a hospital/physiotherapist for it?

[4/9, 9:24 PM] Smitha Antony: Where in chennai

[4/9, 9:25 PM] Arvind Chittor: In hospital. It’s supervised by a therapist. For setting controls. See below link for idea

      [4/9, 9:25 PM] Arvind Chittor:

[4/9, 9:25 PM] Arvind Chittor: Chennai Appolo hospitals i think. Let me ask around. My friends dad was recently treated there.

[4/9, 9:26 PM] Hardeep Sodhi: Good discussions on Robotics…let us try to get some equipment/device manufacture present their thoughts..I will try with a few I have some contact with…please let us have all inputs possible on devices, locations, efficacy, treatment costs etc…..

[4/9, 9:26 PM] Smitha Antony: Ok

      Thank u

[4/9, 9:26 PM] Jitendra Varshney: Yes

      [4/9, 9:26 PM] Arvind Chittor: ???

[4/9, 9:26 PM] Smitha Antony: And how effective it is

[4/9, 9:27 PM] Arvind Chittor: Its for initial stages after surgery. When there was zero strength in legs and zero balance

[4/9, 9:29 PM] M Laxman: Awsome, is it available in Hyderabad?

[4/9, 9:30 PM] Jitendra Varshney: Very much effevtive

[4/9, 9:30 PM] Arvind Chittor: I will suggest you to stick to a good physiotherapist if you have to continue gait training and other therapies. I’m saying this because I got a good guy now after a year now half of my stroke. Only wish he was there in my earlier stages I’m sure I would have recovered by now

[4/9, 9:30 PM] Jitendra Varshney: In ahmedabad

      [4/9, 9:32 PM] Arvind Chittor:

      Tanvi’s robotic rehabilitation clinic.Vanasthalipuram,Hyderabad

[4/9, 9:32 PM] M Laxman: Sir also have a look on Honda walking assist device

[4/9, 9:33 PM] Arvind Chittor: Amadeo for finger, shoulders and elbow is good too.

[4/9, 9:34 PM] M Laxman: Tank you so much, I will try this

      [4/9, 9:36 PM] M Laxman:

[4/9, 9:36 PM] Arvind Chittor: I’m giving u a heads up. It does all your work. You’ll be just strapped to it. When you do it. Imagine your doing it by yourself, feel every movement happening.

[4/9, 9:40 PM] S. Sivakumar: Just wondering if these could be more affordable options for us. Plus we can do this at home whenever and however long we feel like. To my mind, this is really work the neural pathways between brain and the hand. PTs & OTs please comment. I mean I have nothing against robotics but it way out of reach for most. Just my two cents.

      [4/9, 9:41 PM] Bharat Changela: https://missionhealth.co.in/neuro-rehabilitation

[4/9, 9:42 PM] Jitendra Varshney: Is it available in india. If not we need to talk what is in our aproach

      [4/9, 9:51 PM] Jitendra Varshney:

[4/9, 9:52 PM] Jitendra Varshney: My gait training which helped me a lot to achieve my walk

[4/9, 9:53 PM] Smitha Antony: Your gait is fully normal now?

      How long it took?

[4/9, 9:53 PM] Jitendra Varshney: I have one more video from kokilaben too in my channel along with other videos of my recovery so far

[4/9, 9:53 PM] Jitendra Varshney: Not fully normal but yes almost. Coz I can’t run

[4/9, 9:54 PM] Smitha Antony: Oh that’s good

It’s been 2 years almost we r trying

      But gait is not proper

So I thought of trying robotic one also

[4/9, 9:55 PM] Jitendra Varshney: You should try if you could afford

[4/9, 9:55 PM] Jitendra Varshney: It will definitely help.

[4/9, 9:55 PM] Smitha Antony: Can u suggest duration please

[4/9, 9:56 PM] Jitendra Varshney: Depends on condition but atleast 1 month of session will definitely. Help
